Flood damage is typically not covered in your homeowners, renters, or dwelling policies. Fortunately, Flood insurance is available to protect your home, your business or other possessions from this risk. Even if you are not required by federal law to have Flood insurance, you still may be at risk. While The National Flood Insurance Program has been the only option for most insureds in the past forty years, private Flood Insurance has entered the market and may be an option for some clients.

Flood insurance has a 30-day waiting period from the time of application and payment until the policy takes effect, so do not wait until the last minute to speak with us and make sure you have the coverage you need. For a property closing with mandated Flood Insurance, coverage may be obtained as of the closing date.
